[Wellness Center, Derry] Dr. Eliezer is Certified in Functional Medicine from the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). She received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Massachusetts. Dr. Eliezer also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Cornell University, Ithaca, NY and a Master of Business Administration from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA.

Always an active athlete, Dr. Eliezer’s interest in medicine came about after a serious bicycling accident in 1996 that included an extensive recovery process and two years of physical therapy. She felt drawn to the practice of Osteopathic Medicine based upon the experience with her recovery after the bike accident. As the founder of Osteopathy, Dr. Andrew Still said, “Anyone can find disease, the challenge of the Doctor of Osteopathy is to find health.”

After a decade as a primary care physician, Dr. Eliezer achieved her certification in Functional Medicine to expand upon her primary care expertise and empower her patients to understand the root cause of their illness. She enjoys working one-on-one with her patients to engage them in life style interventions that prevent and treat chronic disease, and to evaluate how to maintain health.

Dr. Eliezer is accepting new patients in Functional Medicine. To make an appointment with Dr. Eliezer, call 603-537-3033.
