The DMC Primary Care Charitable Foundation gave a $4,000 donation to Londonderry Trailways–the organization responsible for the Londonderry Rail Trail– for phase 4 and 5 of the Londonderry Rail Trail project. The new section will open up another 1.3 miles west of the current trail, traversing the Little Cohas Brook section described by some as “the most beautiful part of Londonderry that nobody know about.” Once this section is open, there will be 4.5 miles of trail in Londonderry.
The DMC Primary Care Charitable Foundation has been a supporter of both the Derry Rail Trail and Londonderry Rail Trail for many years. The providers at DMC Primary Care know that a pleasant place to be outside and exercise promotes the health of our patients, and enhances the local community.
