[DMC at Derry, 6 Tsienneto Road, Suite 301]] Dr. Welter earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Notre Dame and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Practice at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Welter has a special interest in musculoskeletal issues and sports medicine. He specializes in a wide array of cortisone injections including shoulders, trigger points, sciatic nerve blocks, bursitis and many others.
